If I have to, could I remove Windows entirely and just put Linux or something onto it?Īll comments are appreciated. The laptop has Windows 10 on it, and I'm not too fussed about keeping the data. I was wondering whether I could take the hard drive out, throw it into an enclosure and connect it to my computer (ASRock motherboard), and just wipe it clean from there. I called Lenovo and Microsoft, and they were both unable to do anything for me. It's hit loads of Lenovo laptops, and because so many people haven't actually set a password for it, they're unable to unlock it. I've got a Lenovo laptop that was encrypted by Windows BitLocker after downloading a Windows update.
